A good feature of the dryer chamber is that the air velocity is the same at the top and bottom. The skill of the user is that the air flow passes through the drying batch smoothly and the air speed does not decrease much after the drying batch has passed.
The image below shows the air velocity of the dryer chamber during drying. The resulting image is obtained with two sensors. One sensor on the supply air side and one on the exhaust air side. When this data is combined with the temperatures measured during drying, we achieve better drying. The information obtained can be used to control the fan speed using frequency converters.
This saves expensive drying time and necessary heat energy. The measuring device can be used continuously both in the dryer chamber and in the duct dryer.
